The 2^nd Seed Cup held at the University of Santo Tomas Alfredo M. Velayo Multi-Purpose Hall last February 24, 2019. The quiz bee was composed of all the Certified Public Accountant board exam coverage together with general knowledge questions. This event was intended to aid partner organizations with the pot prize won by the emerging champions of the event. This event was organized by the UST-JPIA together with NFJPIA-NCR. The participants for this event were the following students namely Jan Derrick Y. Lim, Janelle W. Dionisio and Almiera Angmariano. The team emerged as the top 6 contender during the elimination round of the contest proper and emerged as the 2^nd Runner Up of the 2^nd Seep Cup. 

As the aim of the school to bridge the industry and academe-gap for the students, the CKS College Junior Organization together with the CKS College Philippine Marketing Association, organized a seminar entitled: “Marketing Innovation” held last February 13, 2019 at the 2^nd Conference room, Narra Campus. College students and Senior High School Grade 12 ABM strand students were invited to attend.

The seminar featured the Chairman of Mansmith and Fielders, Inc. (the leading marketing and sales training company in the Philippines), Mr. Josiah Go. He is a record breaking best-selling author of various marketing and entrepreneurship books.

A joint project of CKS College Student Executive Council, Rotaract Club of CKS College and CKS Faculty club with special contribution of Hotel & Restaurant Management Society to give an early Christmas celebration for the ah-mas at the Filipino-Chinese Home for the Aged Women in Valenzuela last November 25, 2018.

Apart from giving gift packs and food, our fellow CKSians also serenaded the elderly with the songs “Christmas in Our Hearts” and “月亮代表我的心” (“The Moon Represents My Heart”), much to the delight of the ah-mas, who also joined in the singing. The CKSians were able to bond with the ah-mas further by listening to their personal struggles and experiences shared to them.

The event was celebrated with warmth from the CKSians as they rekindled the feeling of homeliness to the elderly. This goes to show that a home is beyond being a place for it is the love that truly makes it one.
