CKSC Bags Top 5 in Watercube Cup Singing Competition

The 2013 Watercube Cup Overseas Chinese Youth Singing Competition Philippine Elimination Round was held last June 16, 1PM, at the FFCCII Auditorium.

The 5 winners of the competition are: Dean Kyle Ang ( Champion); Vincent Su (1st Runner-up); Sherine Ann Koa ( 2nd Runner-up); Jimmy Chung (3rd Runner-up) & Mary Grace Khu (4th Runner-up). Mr. Jimmy Chung is a CKSC-FBAS alumnus, while Ms. Mary Grace Khu is a 3rd year Marketing student at CKSC-FBAS.

Honors Circle

The Chiang Kai Shek College Alumni Association, Inc. (CKSCAAI) cemented it’s partnership with the Chiang Kai Shek College – Faculty of Business Arts and Sciences (CKSC-FBAS) in the Honors Circle project through the Memorandum of Agreement signing ceremony held last June 7, 2013 at the CKSC Narra Campus. In this agreement, the CKSCAAI commits to provide full scholarship to deserving students who successfully met the requirements and qualifications set for the program. Additionally, CKS College reinforced its commitment to pursue continuous and consistent efforts to sustain excellence in education.

Welcome, Freshmen!

CKS College welcomed the incoming students in an orientation program last June 3, 2013. The freshmen were oriented with regards college life through a discussion of their roles and responsibilities in school.

CKSC President, Dr. Dory Poa was present in the program. Mrs. Carmelita Espino, CKSC Senior Vice President, inspired the students through her welcome remarks. School deans and program heads were also present in the said event.

The morning session focused on discussions regarding school related matters, rules and regulations, the guidance and counseling program, and health related services. In the afternoon session, the freshmen had their dialogue with their respective deans.

中正七十三校慶慶祝會誌盛(獎勵資深教師)

　　歲月的齒輪轉動不息地迎來了本院七十三的壽慶。七十三年的艱苦耕耘，終於帶來了今日繁花似錦、桃李滿園的收穫。在一系列的慶祝活動中，最高潮莫過於今日十月卅日的慶祝會。

　　本院因循例在校慶十月卅一日當天放假，而提前舉行慶祝會。十月卅日(星期二)上午九時，中正紀念堂祝賀聲此起彼落，氣氛熱烈。在司儀曾淑琪老師和小學英文主任Mr. Antonio Uy 的宣佈下，董事會、學院、校友總會領導、以及卅七位資深受獎教職員們在眾人掌聲和歡呼中陸續進場，揭開了七十三週年校慶慶祝大會的序幕。

高樹隆CPA第6名

最受全菲矚目的全國公共會計師會考(Certified Public Accountants CPA Licensure Examinations)日前揭榜，榮登第六名者是華裔，是中正大學部會計系畢業生高樹隆(Benson P. Kotah)。捷聞傳來，舉校又是一陣歡騰，僅僅兩年，兩名中正人列名於會計師會考前六名的龍虎榜上，使中正學院令名再度大放異彩，倍受稱頌，中正人莫不感到與有榮焉！

今年，全國五千三百十五名考生中，僅一千九百九十五名考生(不及四成)通過考試，本院大學部會計系(B.S. in Accountancy)畢業生共有四名通過考試即黃美鉫、張玲美、姚麗安及即高樹隆四人，及格百分率為66.67。
