Last June 28, 2013, the CKSC College YEO (Young Entrepreneurs' Organization) held it's first General Assembly at CKS College 7th floor. The officers and members of the said organization attended the assembly. Organization ID lanyards, snacks, and drinks were distributed. The officers discussed the plans of the organization in the coming months for this school year and also welcomed suggestions from the members. The GA was also marked with fun games facilitated by YEO officers.
More than 600 CKS College students participated in the Recruitment Week of student organizations held last June 20 and 21 at CKSC-FBAS lobby. Featured organizations were the CKSC Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (CKSC-JPIA), Computer Society (COMSOC), FRIENDS Peer Counselors' Organization, Future Educators' Society, HRM Society, Junior Marketing Association (JMA), Junior Management Society (JMS), Junior Students' Organization, Performing Arts Circle, Senior Students' Organization, Young Entrepreneurs' Organization (YEO).
CKS College BSHRM students, led by HRM program coordinator Ms. Glenda Cura served food last June 9, 2013 at the at the speed-dating event organized by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Alumni Associations, Inc. The theme of this year's evenet is "A Singles' Affair" and it was held at the CKSC auditorium.
The event provided a venue for alumni from Filipino-Chinese schools to interact with each other and form bonds of friendship, thereby further fostering stronger camaraderie among members of the Filipino-Chinese Community. Also present in the event are various CKS College alumni who continue to stay connected with their alma mater.
The 2013 Watercube Cup Overseas Chinese Youth Singing Competition Philippine Elimination Round was held last June 16, 1PM, at the FFCCII Auditorium.
The 5 winners of the competition are: Dean Kyle Ang ( Champion); Vincent Su (1st Runner-up); Sherine Ann Koa ( 2nd Runner-up); Jimmy Chung (3rd Runner-up) & Mary Grace Khu (4th Runner-up). Mr. Jimmy Chung is a CKSC-FBAS alumnus, while Ms. Mary Grace Khu is a 3rd year Marketing student at CKSC-FBAS.
The Chiang Kai Shek College Alumni Association, Inc. (CKSCAAI) cemented it’s partnership with the Chiang Kai Shek College – Faculty of Business Arts and Sciences (CKSC-FBAS) in the Honors Circle project through the Memorandum of Agreement signing ceremony held last June 7, 2013 at the CKSC Narra Campus. In this agreement, the CKSCAAI commits to provide full scholarship to deserving students who successfully met the requirements and qualifications set for the program. Additionally, CKS College reinforced its commitment to pursue continuous and consistent efforts to sustain excellence in education.
