The Chiang Kai Shek College Alumni Association, Inc. (CKSCAAI) cemented it’s partnership with the Chiang Kai Shek College – Faculty of Business Arts and Sciences (CKSC-FBAS) in the Honors Circle project through the Memorandum of Agreement signing ceremony held last June 7, 2013 at the CKSC Narra Campus. In this agreement, the CKSCAAI commits to provide full scholarship to deserving students who successfully met the requirements and qualifications set for the program. Additionally, CKS College reinforced its commitment to pursue continuous and consistent efforts to sustain excellence in education.
CKSC President Dr. Dory Poa and CKSCAAI President Mr. Albert Tan Lee affixed their signatures on the agreement, as witnessed by representatives from the CKSC Board of Trustees, CKSCAA officers, CKSC school administrators, the first batch of Honors Circle scholars and their parents and guardians, and CKS College administrators, staff, faculty, and students. The scholars also signed the Enrolment Undertaking, as they committed to abide by the regulations set forth by the program and devote heightened efforts towards studying, learning, and growing, so that they may one day make a difference in society.
The Honors Circle is designed to offer enhanced educational opportunities to high achieving students by providing them with individualized mentoring and accelerated training, thereby helping them gain competence within the areas of Business and Accountancy. The first batch of Honors Circle scholars are Jhon Benedict Ang, Mikee Marrielle Chua, Heather Angelique Co, Jamaica Maru Costales, Charlene Kim Dizon, Chen-ni Hung, Bryann Raymart In, Richel Anne Placido, Jeffrey Shi, Kim Dominique Tan, Tami Anne Tan, Alexandra Landry Ty, and Jasmine Wong.
In his inspirational message, Mr. Albert Tan Lee exhorted the scholars to give their best, double their efforts, study hard, and take full advantage of this opportunity to gain an edge as students, and eventually, as CKS College graduates, alumni, and professionals. And as they take that all-important step towards the fulfillment of their dreams, the scholars were reminded to pursue success, seek to help others, and make their school proud.
