On July 24, 2015, the Junior Organization held its first general assembly, with the theme “Wonka.”
After the registration, the juniors had fun at the photobooth. The program started with an invocation led by Bryann In. A short video presentation introduced the organization and this year’s batch of officers.
The attendees were then divided into four groups: Fun Dip, Spree, Laffy Taffy, and Runts. The first game was the food race, wherein four representatives from each team were to eat dark chocolate, boiled egg, coke, and hot ramen. The first team to finish all the food was team Runts. The second game was the sack race. Five players from each team participated in the relay, with team Runts also winning. The third game was the balloon race. Three ballons were tied to each person. The rule was that the balloons could not touch the ground, and that if the balloon would fall, the person should go back to the starting point. Team Runts emerged victorious again. In the last game, Follow the Mallows, two representatives from each team were selected. Person A was to follow and find the mallows while the other lwould ead him. Team Spree won this game.
After the games, the juniors enjoyed the chocolate fondue set up in the middle of the room. They dipped ice cream, munchkins, marshmallows, and pancakes in chocolate.
Ending the general assembly, the junior students received one more treat. Each junior was asked to get a balloon from the decorations. Upon popping the balloons, four three winners of gift checks and one winner of a Starbucks card were announced.
