Everyone’s got talent to share and now is the best time to showcase it... with the first ever talent contest entitled “CKSC Got Talent: FBAS Edition” organized by the Friends Organization.
An initial screening was held by the Friends Organization officers December 5, 2013. 13 groups of participants from different courses and year levels emerged as the finalists. Mrs. Beth Marasigan, Mr. Danilo Supelana, and Ms. Lhay Asaña served as judges for the final round of the competition. The criteria judged included talent, props, stage presence and audience impact.
One by one, CKSCians showed how talented they were but only three participants were the victors. The “Last Minute,” which is a CKSCIAN KPOP girl group, won 2nd runner up, with their Korean pop dance. Ruth Mauricio, who gave a powerful song number, was 1st runner up, and the first ever champion for the CKSC Got Talent (FBAS Edition) was Oliver Chua, who serenaded the audience with his performance. The winners performed at the CKSC-FBAS Christmas Program last December 13. The winners received trophies, certificates of participation, and gift certificates as their prizes.
