On September 12, 2013, the Computer Society held a hands-on seminar about Photoshop-- a photo-editing software --at CKS College computer laboratory at Room 502. Both COMSOC members and non-members joined the seminar.
The speakers of the seminar were Krystelynn Ann Go and Ivan Bartolome, both graduates of Fine Arts & Design from the University of Sto. Tomas. They taught the basics of editing like cloning, logo making, and pimple/wrinkle removal. COMSOC officers guided attendees through more challenging portions of the workshop.
In closing, Mr. Bartolome reiterated that in order to widen one’s knowledge of Photoshop, there is a need to continually explore the various features of the program. He also emphasized that this knowledge shall be a tremendous advantage when one enters the workplace.
