July 23, 2013 marks the annual Boardwalk Yes! Program entitled "YES to a Fun and Fashionable Way to Earn." More than a hundred CKSCians from different year levels and courses attended. Mrs. Michelle Fuentabella, the Managing Director of Boardwalk talked about personality enhancement and discussed the importance of developing the right attitude. The second speaker was the sales trainer of Boardwalk, Mr. Christian Rueda. He introduced the special privileges if students join Boardwalk and be one of their young entrepreneurs. These privileges include free registration, 25% discount, business capital, internship program, and free training and job hunting.
The company also offers a good deal to students who want to earn extra income. They provide a PhP 3,000.00 credit limit to students if they are interested in this kind of business. In addition, they can also offer up to PhP 10,000 worth of sponsorships to different events of student organizations.
At the latter part of the event, the mood totally shifted with the song and dance intermission numbers from CKSC -FBAS' very own Performing Arts Club. Also, adding fire to the event was the fashion show featuring 10 selected FBAS students who walked down the runway, showcasing different Boardwalk apparels. Among the student-models were: Shaina Laxamana, Harry So, Erica Ng, Jimcen Young, Kaypee Ambas, Andrea Enriquez, Ezekiel Chua Co, Mary Grace Khu, Alexander Ngo, and Mary Grace Tan.
Delegates and judges from Boardwalk named Kaypee Ambas (4th Year, BSA student) Mr. Catwalk and Andrea Enriquez (4th Year, BSA student) Miss Catwalk. They have the chance to represent CKSC-FBAS in Boardwalk’s intercollegiate search for the new Boardwalk model.
