Last November 28, 2019, the School of Business, Accountancy, and HRM in partnership with Fil-Chi Media Productions, Inc. organized the CKS College Entrep Summit 2019 entitled, "From Startup to Success: Lessons from CKSian Entrepreneurs" at the Padre Algue Campus Auditorium. This aims to bring together experts from various disciplines in forums where healthy exchanges of ideas can be undertaken.
The summit featured four of our distinguished alumni that demonstrated their exceptional achievements and success in their respective industries. Mr. Eric Teng from CKSC Batch 80 is the CEO/Chairman of the restaurants Mango Tree Philippines and Genki Sushi Philippines. He is also currently the Marketing Director of Maldita Marketing, Inc. which is a clothing line brand in the Philippines. Together with him is his wife, Mrs. Emelda Teng from CKSC Batch 85. She is the President of Maldita Marketing, Inc, the Chief Finance Officer of Baby Spice Food Corporation, and President of Patrick Donald Teng Foundation. They discussed about their journey when they first established their businesses. They shared some challenges and failures that they have encountered and how they have learned from these.
