CKS College Business Expo 2017: Venturing into New Horizons

The CKS College Business Expo 2017 was spearheaded by the School of Business, Accountancy, and HRM, in cooperation with the CKS College Student Executive Council, the CKS Senior High School Student Government, Junior Marketing Association, Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, Junior Management Society, Computer Society, and Rotaract Club of CKSC. Held last October 13 and 14, the theme of the Business Expo was "Venturing into New Horizons." More than 650 outsiders (comprised of young professionals, parents, students from other schools, and CKS College alumni), as well as CKS College administrators, faculty, staff, and students, visited the 2-day event.

The expo featured and showcased innovative products conceptualized and produced by CKSian Management, Marketing, and Hotel & Restaurant Management students. Under the guidance of professors Mr. Ryan Olivier Lao and Ms. Lhay Asana, the students were able to express their creativity and business acumen as they exhibited through practical application what they learned in the classroom.

Various promising businesses also exhibited alongside the CKSian entrepeneurs: Cha Tuk Tuk, chomp, NYFD, Chicky, Fiorgelato, Prince Shawarma, Pixel Hero, Ella Mila, Kulitz Magical Store, Patata Army, AXA Life,Random Mania, School Haul, Twips Bake House, Dumpling King, Bitter Sweet, Venture Pack, Pet Corner, Dairy Queen, Gift Studio, the Happy Mom, Crunchy Garlic, Spyce Collection, Pancake House, JC Premiere, Collectors Toy Box, and El Filete Gourmet.

Company sponsors and alumni also extended their generous support to the CKS College Business Expo 2017. Amongst them were Mrs. Margarita Go, Ms. Aurora Go, Mr. Jimmy See, Mr. Benjamin Tan, Ms. Joyce Dy, Mr. Reynaldo Sy, Omni Electrical Lighting, Big Chill.
