The CKS College Business Expo 2016 was spearheaded by its School of Business, Accountancy, and HRM, in cooperation with the CKS College Student Executive Council, Junior Marketing Association, Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, Junior Management Society, Computer Society, Junior Organization, and Senior Organization. Held last October 7 and 8, the theme of the Business Expo was "Spectrum of Opportunities." More than 650 outsiders (comprised of young professionals, parents, students from other schools, and CKS College alumni), as well as CKS College administrators, faculty, staff, and students, visited the 2-day event. Among the esteemed guests who also visited and extended their wholehearted support where CKS College President Dr. Dory Poa, Vice President and Legal Counsel Atty. Danny Chan, Federation of Filipino-Chinese Alumni Associations, Inc. President Mrs. Loraine Tan, CKSC Alumni Association, Inc. President Mrs. Margarita Go, and CKSC Alumni Association, Inc. Vice President Ms. Joyce Dy. The media partner for the event was Chinoy TV.
The expo featured and showcased innovative products conceptualized and produced by CKSian Management, Marketing, and Hotel & Restaurant Management students. Under the guidance of professors Mr. Ryan Olivier Lao and Ms. Lhay Asana, the students were able to express their creativity and business acumen as they exhibited through practical application what they learned in the classroom.
Various promising businesses also exhibited alongside the CKSian entrepeneurs: Collectors Pad, Dairy Queen, Sweets N More Manila, Capella, Bubble Wrap, Shaky Shaky, Life Shirt, iWear Manila, Collectors' Toybox, Kulitz Magical Store, It's a Hobby, Chips N Tub, Talk of the Town MNL, Venture Pack, the Happy Place, NYFD, Maxell, Happy Belly's Kitchen, and Lornes General Merchandise.
Company sponsors also extended their generous support to the CKS College Business Expo 2016.
